Our Sports Equipment arrived last week from our Great Athletes Event - the children are really looking forward to using all of it! Thank you again for your sponsorship money!

Our school has a Christmas Tree at this event - we based our tree on 'Walking in a Winter Wonderland'. All of the pupils have used their footprints to create unique hanging decorations for the tree. Mrs Bramwell has been instrumental in organising this event - Thank you to her for all of her efforts!

Engages with debate, Being a Respectful Active Citizen, Participation and Responsibility were the learning characteristics shown at the first Trust Pupil Parliament meeting last week. We met up with other Trust schools to discuss the new focus "Understanding Biodiversity and what we can do to support this in our schools". Our new Pupil Parliament already have ideas around this. Over the next few weeks they will be creating a PowerPoint about this to share with our pupils in assembly, before putting their ideas into motion. It was lovely to see them confidently sharing their thoughts and ideas about Biodiversity with the other adults and pupils from our other schools.

Willow and Chestnut Class - Mr Lea needs YOU!

We will be hosting our very first Violin Concert on Tuesday 16th December. Our Key Stage 2 pupils will be performing a variety of pieces that they have been learning this academic year. Please put this date in your diary!

Willow had an excellent time at Dunwich on Wednesday. We were fascinated by what Sister Luke had to tell us about life in the Middle ages. We had great fun trying on hats and exploring artefacts. To finish off our trip we had a walk along the cliff to the Priory ruins, stopping off to see the last grave left and an extra bonus, we spotted a seal in the sea.

Suffolk country council invited all primary schools in Suffolk to enter their design a road sign poster, promoting road safety . Willow and chestnut class took part, and we could submitted 3 designs from each class, to be judged by a panel of judges in Ipswich this month. Picking 6 entries was really difficult as all the children worked really hard on their posters, making them bright ,colourful and most importantly with a safety message included in the design. The winning posters from schools will be made into road safety signs to be displayed outside their primary school. Well done to all who took part, we will be displaying some of the posters around the school as they were all so good. The winning posters were from willow class Edwin, Jack and James And chestnut class Anya, Evie and Bradley
